"My style is ever evolving... I am colorblind which has forced me to be comfortable wearing whatever feels right. Clashing colors, patterns and fabrics is something I do often, consciously or otherwise. Growing up the son of free loving hippies also has helped me to express myself through my own personal style. I do find it odd, however that my father who was very much a member of the counter-culture, freedom of expression, 1960's and 70's makes fun of me for the way I dress. I think while my father may take issue with my style at times it does bring him some solace when he finds me donning his vintage Yves Saint Laurent suit or his knit ties or anything else I might grab from his closet. I guess every generation and each individual has to find the right balance in life. Working in DC it is very easy to fall victim to the two piece ill-fitting suit but if you do find that harmonious place between business classic and funky fresh I think you have nailed it."
